WORLD YOUTH DAY is an exciting International Catholic event focused on religious faith and youth.

This is an exciting opportunity where you can meet young people like yourselves from around the world while exploring your faith in God.

WYD, begun by Pope John Paul II, is a unique way to deepen your faith and grow closer to Christ, while engaging in prayer, vibrant liturgy, powerful catechesis with bishops from around the world, concerts from Catholic artists, and an unforgettable vigil and Mass with Pope Francis. The WYD theme, which comes from Luke 1:38, “I am the servant of the Lord.  May it be done to me according to your word.” is dedicated to our Blessed Mother Mary.  Pope Francis wants to challenge the young church to encounter Christ and grow in a relationship with our Lord and His mother Mary, as well as share the Good News to those we encounter.
WYD activities will take place January 22-27.

WYD is a Pilgrimage! This pilgrimage will give you the chance to give yourself to God by three main ways: to know Him, love Him and serve Him. Join us in this journey! The experience you will receive will be phenomenal! Make this pilgrimage a turning point in your Life. This opportunity is open to youth/young adults ages 16 -35 years .

If you feel that God is calling you, then we would like to invite you to register for the World Youth Day Pilgrimage.  Seats are limited so don’t wait too long. Total cost for air fare, accommodations, and two days of tours (Panama City/Canal) is $2500. Divine Mercy Church a local parish in Panama will be hosting our travelers. Our pilgrims will be staying with Diocese approved families.
